Good is good.. service is great.. never a bad experience

I have been to this place once before it wasn't so great I decided to give it another try this time it was amazing from the appetizers to the drinks everything was great for appetizers we had the Texas egg rolls they really good I also had a salad it was great and for dinner i had the local river salmon amazing. 👌👍👍.

First, Grilled catfish. Yum. Bright green broccoli. Nice Baker not only with everything, but sAUTEED ONIONS TOO. I used to cook dinners like this, now Roadhouse gets to cook, I get to relish. Thank you everyone, please stay safe and healthy.

They need new management badly!!! The old Roadhouse was way better! How disappointing.... SMH, never again...

In my opinion the Original Roadhouse is the best best casual steak house in all of Portland Oregon. Go in kick back and order a 22oz glass of good cold beer along with one of the tastiest tender 14 oz Rib Steaks you ever bit into. Have some roasted free peanuts with your beer while the Chef cooks your Steak to your perfection. No containers furnished so throw them on the floor, kids love it. Try this place out, you will not forget the experience. Fun night for everyone.

Fun place, eat peanuts, throw the shells on the floor, or not. Good food, nice staff and reasonably priced.

I enjoy the casual atmosphere here. This time we sat in the bar and had the most amazing service from the bartender who also was the one who waited the tables in the bar area. I cannot recall his name but he was attentive to everyone, constantly on the move and made sure that nobody wanted or waited for anything that he could take care of. Thank you so much for a good evening out to rat.

Very quick service, but felt a bit rushed, friendly service though. Food was good. I'll be back, anywhere I can throw peanut shells on the floor and have a tasty hunk or chunk of meat is a place for me.

Very Delicious Prime Rib Dinner. Cowboy cut of Prime Rib, 16 oz, was $27. Sat in the bar for dinner to be away from young children. The restaurant is also a great place to bring your children for a family experience. All staff was friendly and the service was prompt, but not rushed. Will definitely drive the ten miles again for the food.

Nice casual bbq joint. Ordered the bison ribs and they were pretty tasty. Tender and lean. The loaded mashed potatoes had a lot of garlic, but I like that. The complimentary rolls are on the sweet side, but still good. The poor wait-staff has to do a birthday chant thing, but for their sakes at least it's short! I was too slow to get a video.

Great bbq! Something for everyone here. Our favorite is the Texas eggrolls.

Delivery from Doordash tonight. Been craving steak and baked potato and omg 😍😋 my husband had the catfish and loved it, our first time eating here. Will def order again soon.

I adore this place very much. there is a nice feeling. The meals are superb. the service is efficient and the stuff is friendly. The pay is reasonable. profoundly recommend.

Grabbed food on way back from fishing. Was worried because it had some negative some good reviews. I can tell you it was one of the best steakhouses I've had in a long time. I would rate it above Black Angus, outback and Texas Roadhouse.

This place is the bomb this food is so good

Solid steakhouse; the meat quality is always good and they have very good fries. All of our meals have been very enjoyable so far, and if I'm in this neighborhood, it's our go-to place for family dinners. Right now they're doing great with the social distancing (as well as one can in an indoor space).My one gripe; they have a house cocktail called a hillbilly punch, made with rum, as opposed to like whiskey or something. I think they have hillbillies confused with pirates?

We go to the Roadhouse two or three times a year and we've NEVER been disappointed. GREAT food, good drinks, FANTASTIC bread rolls, and the service is usually pretty good. The onion rings aren't very good, and it can get noisy when it's real busy, but what place doesn't? We enjoy eating the peanuts and being able to throw the shells on the floor. I always have the Roadhouse grille. My family has had other steaks, chicken, and ribs, and all of it has ALWAYS been GREAT!

I come here frequently but might stop soon. The waiters have always been pleasant, especially Nathan. The food here is pretty good and the rolls & butter at the beginning of the meal are to die for. The reason I might stop coming is the broccoli has never been very fresh when I come, it's yellowing or browning, and one time I got my chicken pink and it tasted odd.

Great service and really really good salads. I had the Harvester with chicken and the veggies were fresh and cold and the chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned. Great iced tea, our server was friendly and attentive. They have an extensive menu that caters to a wide variety of tastes. They also have a menu for kids. My only caution would be for someone who has a peanut allergy. They serve peanuts in the shell and there are typically shells all over the floor. Otherwise I highly recommend this place. It gets really noisy and busy during regular meal times, so for the best experience, go during off times.

Great food when we were there.

Haven't been here in a while. My wife had the Grilled Shrimp Skewer Salad. She said it was good, but it was a bit large. I had the regular Ribeye with the baked sweet potato and grilled vegetables. Everything was cooked as expected and tasty.

It was good. Nothing wow about it, the steak was super small, garlic mashers and the bread were delicious. I think one good thing I've seen happen since Corona hit is there aren't peanuts shells all over the floor. That was gross way before panic hit. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Walking in everything is clean and tidy. Every other table is Caution Taped off. ( as for distancing ) wear masks walking in, and take off at tables. Greeted as we walked in, almost immediately. Fast friendly. Waitress attentive, brought out drinks quickly. Food arrived hot, on clean plates. Everything cooked perfectly as ordered. Very tasty chicken I must say, had all the flavor I was looking for. Waitress kept comming back for refills and always asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. Superb service. Will recommend to others and definitely bring the family back.

My family and I love to come here for happy hour. The prices are great, the staff is friendly and the food is always delicious. I love to get the tri tip sliders with onion rings on the happy jour menu. Their onion rings are one of my favorites!! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great happy hour in the area. The drinks are also really good.

I actually enjoyed the dishes and customer service, great area to my apartment. The workers are always very friendly. Will come visit again.

Celebrated my brother in laws birthday this evening...Started off with their “luckenbach lemonade & a 3 finger Pendleton & Coke” has ith peanuts...For appetizer - I split with the table “Texas Egg Rolls”...it was just deep fried cream cheese with jalapeño (missed the ingredients you generally find in egg rolls though)...We continued with more drinks - Strawberry Lemon Drop, Hillbilly Punch...we split a 2 Choice Combo - Tri Tip for him & Sirloin for her...each had a house salad (which was spot on!) and garlic mashed potatoes with cheese & bacon...Favorable and great service & well priced for portion size

No on greeted us, had to wait 5 minutes yet the restaurant was almost empty. We ordered top steaks, med rare, with loaded baked potatoes. Steaks came med well to well, potatoes had very little toppings (that we paid extra for) no butter. The waiter never came to check on us, not once. Our salads we drenched with salad dressing, inedible. My drink ran out, never got a refill. Applebee's has serves better steaks than this joint by far, for less. Tip, hell no...…! reading other comments, service is a consistent problem. Clearly no one knows a good steak who eats here though, no seasoning, cooked wrong. Just horrible.

I love this place and their food! The meat is always good really good and wonderful sides too. The rolls are amazing and soft.The only thing I would say bad is this restaurants service. It always takes forever to get a booth or table. There have been multiple times where no one is at the check in area too help us and we just stand there for 10 minutes. The people are always kind though and never rude.I love this restaurants food but would like it if the improved the service.

We had a simple lunch. (Salad) But our server 'Charity' was amazing! She was super friendly and efficient. Even took time out to have a small conversation. We will definitely be back.

Food was amazing! And so was the strawberry lemonade drink.. the steak was made with red wine, I couldn't finish eatting it because the red wine took of the steak. A little bit less red wine when cooking the steak please. Other then that everything else was great!

I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was actually not bad. However two friends of mine ordered 8 oz sirloin steaks and not only were they TINY and sad looking but too rare. We asked if we could make them medium well and they came back SO BURNT it was almost kinda funny. I felt sooo bad and wondered if we were still getting charged full price and we did! A $25 steak dinner that looked worse than a 5 dollar freezer instant meal. I’m sorry it was just so bad I had to write an honest review! Lemonade was good??

Today we had dinner in this restaurant. Despite the large number of visitors, for us found a table for 10 minutes. Quickly took the order, quickly brought drinks and some dishes from the order. After 7-10 minutes brought the main dish of the order. The staff, polite and friendly, fast service. The food is truly delicious. I ordered shrimps with rice and sweet potatoes with salad and soup, my husband ordered pork with potatoes and also a salad. The portions are large and very tasty. I also want to mention the bread and butter, they are just incredibly tasty. Beer is great. Had a wonderful time and had a good dinner. There is also a TV where you can watch basketball. Will gladly come to this restaurant again. Thank you, guys for everything. I advise everyone this please. P.S. For lovers of littering there are small buckets with peanuts, the garbage of which you can throw on the floor )))

Service was fantastic, staff was pleasant and professional. Food is amazing ribs are fall of the bone, bbq chicken was seasoned all the way through and the bread is my favorite thing.

Excellent steaks, prime rib, barbecue, seafood and burgers along with a great wait staff.

The best BLT sandwich I've ever eaten! Definitely check out the Mojito Lemonade (non alcoholic). Super service, great food and casual atmosphere. Consistently good food and is our go-to lunch and dinner place when we want to eat out without the kiddos. A bit pricey, but the quality of the food and excellent staff make it well worth the money.

My daughter took me here for Father's day. We have always gone here to celebrate. Post covid the food quality has dropped considerably. Staff was friendly, and it felt like our waitress thought that we weren't going to tip well. We tipped $17.00 and she was instantly friendly. I hate the feeling of service staff treating guests like they are just $$$. Needless to say, we will go back. We always do.

Can no longer get a salad as a side. Should not have to pay for dinner salad. They cut sides way down. Not a happy camper.
